NASHVILLE: Both starters KO'd

After Alvarez cleared the bases with his homer and Flaherty flied to deep right, Vandy's Shea Robin wlaked and Matt Meingasner slammed a double down the line in left, and Vandy has runners at second and third with two away.

UT's Rod Delmonico wasted no time in pulling starter Lance McClain for closer Jeff Lockwood... in the THIRD INNING.

Now, Andrew Giobbi greets Lockwood with a 3-1 bleeder through the right side of the infield.... two runs score, and that makes a five-spot for both teams here in the third.

We're tied 5-5, Vandy still hitting with a man on first and two away in the bottom of the third.
