NASHVILLE: Perfection no more

By Chris Lee - April 20, 2007

After Andy Siminic and Julio Borbon both struck out to start the seventh, UT's Tony Delmonico, son of UT coach Rod Delmonico, hit a soft liner over the head of second baseman Alex Feinberg into right-center to end the perfect game and no-hitter.

Price balked Delmonico to second, but fanned J.P. Arencibia on a hard slider around his shins and inside that Arencibia missed by about six inches.

Price has now fanned 12, and Vandy leads 2-0 after 6 1/2.
