NASHVILLE: Shao wiggles out of trouble

Senior lefty Steve Shao gave up a leadoff single to Ian Gomes, then walked Jeff Lockwood with one out before balking both over with Cody Brown at the plate.

But Shao rebounded to strike out Brown with a nice change-up, then got a ground ball from Jarred Frazier for out three.

No score with Vandy coming to the plate in the bottom of the second.
