NASHVILLE: Vandy leads

After getting an 0-2 count to pinch-hitter Brian Harris with men on second and third and two outs, UT's Jeff Lockwood missed with a change-up outside, then missed badly with a fastball outside that got by J.P. Arencibia, and Ryan Flahert (leadoff walk) raced home with the go-ahead run.

Harris fouled off a number of pitches with Andrew Giobbi at third, then coaxed a walk. That brings up hot-hitting David Macias, who was 2-3 with a pair of singles and a line-drive out.

However, Macias tapped to Tony Delmonico for an easy third out.

Vanderbilt 6, Tennessee 5 as five are complete. It's always an adventure when the Commodore bullpen takes the hill (at least, of late) so stay tuned, there are likely more fireworks to come.
