OSU-Texas: Flyball Frenzy
By Tristan Threlkeld - April 29, 2007
At the end of the fifth inning in every Cowboy home game, the marketing team challenges a fan to catch three fly balls in right field. Well for the first time all season a fan has won the big prize by catching all three balls. The fan won a t-shirt, team colored crocs (a flip-flop type shoe), and a team autographed baseball. Congrats to him on the daring feat.
Have I mentioned the gorgeous weather for the third day in a row. It's a bright sunny day in Stillwater with the heat getting to 80 degrees and a slight breeze flowing from rightfield to leftfield. Another day that could help the Cowboys bats come to life. So far, no good.
At the end of the top of the sixth, Texas leads 4-0. They added another run on a bases loaded sac fly by Chais Fuller, so the bottom half of the Longhorns lineup continues to haunt and hurt the Cowboy hurlers.
