OSU-Texas: Tall order goes down in first; James Russell starts strong

By Tristan Threlkeld - April 27, 2007

The Longhorns feature a tall order lineup, literally. The first three hitters are each 6 foot 5 inches tall.

Jordan Danks started the game off for the 'Horns with a strikeout, while Chance Wheeless took a walk on five pitches.

Jeff Breedlove answered the call when he struck out the fiercest hitter in the conference and nation looking in Kyle Russell. Then Breedlove struck out Bradley Suttle to end the Top of the first. It is early in the game, but it more and more fans keep pouring into Allie P.

First two Cowboy hitters come up with no answer, while Corey Brown gets first hit for Cowboys and subsequently steals second with 2 outs. It was all for not as Tyler Mach flied out to the catcher in foul territory.
