OSU-Texas: We must protect this house

By Tristan Threlkeld - April 29, 2007

The thoughts that run through any Oklahoma State fan on Sunday afternoon at Allie P. Reynolds is "I hope we don't get swept." The Texas Longhorns are looking to do something no team has ever done in the history of Allie P. Reynolds existence. Oklahoma State has never last three games in a row at Allie P., that goes all the way back to 1981, the year Allie P. was opened. Also this season OSU has not lost three games in a row, but Texas will look to get it's second conference sweep of the year.

Today will be interesting to see as each team will be sending pitchers by request. The Cowboys will be sending Joe Kent to the mound for his seventh start of the year, he is 4-0. The Longhorns will send Austin Wood, who has an 8-3 record.

Will the crowd pack the house for the third day in a row or Will the fans stay home and cheer after seeing the Longhorns win two straight?
