Oxford: A catch and a fall

By Chris Kieffer - April 28, 2007

Ole Miss pitcher Lance Lynn just got out of the fourth inning by getting Mississippi State's Connor Powers to pop out to him for the third out.
Powers sent the ball high in the air to the front of the mound. Lynn got under the ball but came in a little too much so when he stetched out to catch the ball, he had to lead back, lost his balance and fell on his back. He bobbled the ball a little but caught it.
Meanwhile, MSU's Justin Pigott has thrown four scoreless innings and throw just 41 pitches.
1-0 Mississippi State after four. A lot less offense then there was at this point yesterday, when Ole Miss had 14 runs and 17 hits after three innings.
