San Diego: Self-Insured

Josh Romanski does it all. With two on and two out, the San Diego pitcher stepped up to the plate and clocked an Adam Olbrychowski pitch over center fielder Adrian Ortiz's head to score Jordan Abruzzo and pinch runner Kevin McCoy. The runs pad his lead to 5-0 heading into the ninth.

It's not like he really needs them, though. Romanski is warming up for the ninth inning and looks poised to finish the complete game shutout. Unless the Waves have suddenly found the answer for Romanski, it looks like he's well on his way to his eighth win of the season.
