Settling In Nicely

By Doug Kroll - April 18, 2007

Things have finally settled down here after a wild first three innings for the Gamecocks. Starter Mike Cisco has been brilliant, allowing only one run so far to the Tigers, as the Gamecocks lead 4-1 as we play in the bottom of the 5th.

Cisco has shut down a pretty good Clemson lineup, striking out five batters, while only issuing one walk.

The only run he gave up was on a Marquez Smith wind-aided triple to rightcenter followed by an RBI groundout by Andy D'Alessio.

For a guy that has dealt with the New York winter for the last few months, this weather is unreal. I can really get used to this crisp feel in the Low-Country!
