FSU: Tar Heels strike back
By Michael McGuffee - April 20, 2007
The bats have picked up for both teams, but it was the Tar Heels who took advantage. Catcher Tim Federowicz singled to score Tim Fedroff from third with two outs and knot the game at one apiece. However, the ballpark erupted after Florida State made a play at the plate to throw out the go-ahead run on the same play.
The Tar Heels advanced right fielder Tim Fedroff to third base after FSU center fielder Mark Gildea couldn't come up with the diving catch on a Josh Horton single — much to the disapointment of the Seminole faithful.
Looks like the pitchers may be starting to wear down here against two powerful lineups.
