UC Irvine-Cal Poly: Okay, it's now UCI leading 3-1 in the 5th.

When the Anteaters take the field in the top of the 6th, I'm hoping it's already time for Blair Erickson to take the mound and get the record-setting save.

Matt Morris and Bryan Peterson both singled to lead off the 4th inning for UCI and came around to score on hits by Jeff Cusick, brother of USC's Matt, and Ollie Linton, who tore a new one in Fullerton when I saw them play last week.

But let's stop with the scoring now Anteaters. God knows we don't want you to build on your lead without giving Erickson a chance to pick up the save opportunity. C'mon Coach Serrano, let him toss the last four innings.
