UNC/NC STATE: Wolfpack Hold Serve

NC State is hanging onto a 3-2 lead after five innings.

UNC wasted a single by Seth Williams in the 5th and couldn't score when Reid Fronk and Dustin Ackley hit flyouts to left field.

NC State then got a lead off single by Marcus Jones, who was bunted over to second by Dallas Poulk. Leadoff hitter Joe Florio then hit a line drive that was snared by SS Josh Horton, who outraced Jones to second base and doubled him up to end the inning.
