Wright to the rescue; Fans voice displeasures
By Tristan Threlkeld - April 27, 2007
With runners on first and second, Ty Wright grabbed a line shot to left and threw a rocket to second to double up Preston Clark. That was an inning saving play and now he goes to the plate as the first batter of the inning in the bottom of the seventh. Wright strikes out looking on a pitch that looked to catch him on the arm. Wright voices his issues right along with the crowd with the homeplate ump. The crownd groans continue as the homeplate ump continues with his calls. I would have to agree with the fans on some of those calls.
