ACC: Miami takes control
By Glenn Tanner - May 25, 2007
Miami added two more runs in the bottom of the fifth to take a 5-2 lead and chase FSU starter Ryan Strauss.
And I ventured down in the stands for an inning and almost got hit TWICE by flying Chick Fil-A promotional products that seemed to come sailing out of nowhere.
This menace must be stopped.
Either that, or Chick Fil-A must cater the press lunch again tomorrow.
Their call...
Strauss hit Blake Tekotte to lead off the inning, and after a sac bunt, intentionally walked Yonder Alonso. Both runners moved up on a ground out and scored on a Jemile Weeks single to make it 5-2. Weeks stole second and after an error put another runner on, Mike Martin came for Strauss. Brian Chambers relieved and walked his first hitter to load the bases, but got out of the inning on a K.
Strauss' final line: 4.2 innings, 6 hits, 5 earned runs, 3 walks, 1 K

Eric is talking about Chick-Fil-A at the Big 12... Glenn is ducking Chick-Fil-A at the ACC... I'm sensing a trend tonight
