A-Sun: When Dolphins Attack

By Bryan App - May 23, 2007

Well, that was certainly unexpected. The Jacksonville offense, the same one that had racked up three hits in seven innings, just exploded for five runs and seven hits in the eighth to take a 7-4 lead.

Logan James started the rally with a lead-off single before being put out on a fielder's choice to third. Still, the next five batters reached base and scored, as 11 hitters came to the plate.

Pete Clifford plated a run with a single, Mike McAllister singled to add another, and Don Vickers claimed his third double of the game to score two more.
