AU/MSU: Pitchers duel final

I've been more guilty than most when it comes to hammering the Miss State pitching staff. After all, the staff ERA was 5.30 entering today. But in the last 28 innings, MSU pitchers have allowed just two earned runs.

Chad Crosswhite and Aaron Weatherford combined on a three-hitter in a 4-1 victory over Auburn tonight.

The win boosts MSU to 29-12 and 11-9. Auburn falls to 28-20 and 7-15.

Crosswhite got the win to improve to 6-2. Weatherford got his third save. Evan Crawford got the loss to fall to 4-5 despite not allowing an earned run.
