Big South Game 1 ... Coastal vs. UNC Asheville

No. 14 Coastal Carolina is about to take the field and they look positively angry. I'm guessing coach Gary Gilmore told them there would be no letdown after winning the Big South regular-season championship because their host NCAA bid could still be on hold. I don't see how -- seems to me 44 wins and a No. 7 RPI would be a lock, and Myrtle Beach isn't a terrible place to spend the weekend.

Kudos to Winthrop Athletics for springing for a delicious McDonald's breakfast. I threw away the hotcakes and sausage and ate the styrofoam plate. It's more nutritious.
