Big South Game 8 ... Winthrop vs. Coastal Carolina

Trailing 13-4 and facing an elimination game right after this one, Winthrop comes into the ninth full of pep, gets a one-out single and hits into its FIFTH double play.

The Eagles now get an hour break while a fresh Liberty team pulls up to do battle. The winner gets to be served up to Coastal tomorrow, needing to win two to claim the title.

And the Chants will probably start Andy DeLaGarza, their No. 1 starter until a week ago.

Strong chance of a thorough embarassment.
