Man, La-Lafayette was so close from hosting a regional, but they are a talented team. They will still do good. Count on them in Omaha.

What regional games are going to be on tv Friday?

I realize that every at-large team left out will complain that the selection committee erred, and that is something that is unavoidable. What should be addressed, however, are the pairings. Economics dictates that geographic proximity should be a primary consideration. That said, however, it should not be all that difficult to avoid the large number of rematches. Consider Clemson. Assuming all other seedings play out to form, they would have to beat Coastal Carolina, followed by Florida State (each of whm they have already faced this season) and then UNC (a fellow ACC school). I would not say that beating Arkansas would be any easier than beating FSU. But wouldn't we all find new matchups more interesting?

Thanks for commenting guys. There's no question that trying to avoid rematches from games played in that season is something that should have been looked at. The beauty of the NCAA Tournament is getting matchups that we're not used to seeing, between conferences that usually wouldn't play each other in the middle of the season, so David, I couldn't agree more. As for which games will be on TV, that is still being determined and I'll post as soon as I hear. As for Louisiana-Lafayette, I think it came down to the fact that they already had two many regionals down in that area of the country, and of course we know the committee is always trying to spread things out. I look forward to seeing a little bit of the Rajin' Cajuns. Keep the comments coming.

Coastal Carolina and San Diego regionals confirmed for the other network. CSTV?

Word is that CSTV will have the Arkansas Regional...

Yea man, La-Louisiana means business this year. If they play Ragin Cajun baseball they will do find.
