In the 14-11 UNC victory to clinch the series, the Tar Heels and Yellow Jackets combined for 25 runs, 35 hits, and 8 home runs. Georgia Tech hit five long balls (Garofalo, Payne, Wieters, Murton, Feltes), while UNC had three (Johnson, Fronk, Williams). Tech used 7 pitchers, while UNC used four.

Finally, take a look at these pitching stats:

Ga Tech 8 IP, 19 H, 14 R, 13 ER, 8 BB, 4 K, 1 HBP, 3 HR allowed

UNC 9 IP, 16 H, 11 R, 11 ER, 4 BB, 10 K, 2 HBP, 5 HR allowed
