Chapel Hill: UNC Continues Comeback; So Does Tech

By Kenny Cook - May 13, 2007

Georgia Tech got two runners on in both the 4th and 5th innings but couldn't get anyone across the plate.

UNC took a 9-7 lead in the bottom of the 5th when Tim Fedroff walked, went to third on a double by Benji Johnson, and scored on a balk by reliever Tim Ladd. Tim Federowicz later hit a sacrifice fly to score Johnson.

The Yellow Jackets have come storming back in the sixth to make it 9-9. Wally Crancer led off with a single and Luke Murton drilled a HR to right center field off Federowicz (on in relief) to knot the game going into the bottom of the sixth.

A little cloud cover and a bit of a breeze has made things more bearable here.
