Neither Rice nor Memphis scored in the third inning, we even saw a good defensive play in the third frame.
Joey Lieberman of Memphis hit a chopper to third and it hit the base, bounced in the air about 7-8 ft. and Rice thid baseman Diego Seastrunk snagged it with his bare hand and threw Lieberman out at first to end the scoreless inning.
Memphis 5, Rice 4 after 3 innings.
