FSU: Clemson continues to climb

By Michael McGuffee - May 12, 2007

Clemson picked up another run in the top of the sixth and what was a 6-1 lead for the 'Noles has unraveled to only a two-run deficit for the purple-people eaters.

Brain Chambers came in to pitch for the 'Noles, walking Ben Paulsen and giving up a double to Clemson catcher Doug Hogan. Left fielder Alex Lee came through with the RBI single to score Paulsen. The Seminoles ended the inning after pinch hitter Alex Burg hit into a double play.

The Tigers are keeping the bullpen busy and so far it's working. Clemson pitching has strung together three consecutive scoreless innings after the Tribe earned runs in each of their first three frames.
