Go Crazy folks, Ty Wright hits game winner

By Tristan Threlkeld - May 06, 2007

The OSU Cowboys just tied the game off a two-run sac bunt. Matt Lopez came to the plate with runners on first and second and zero outs. The Cowboys trailed 7-5 and looked dead in the water, but Cowboy head coach Frank Anderson wanted to take a chance and had Lopez bunt with two strikes to move the runners over. Well Lopez did and Sooners new pitcher Garrett Richards, who replaced Nich Conaway, made a wild throw to third in an attempt
to get the force out and over threw it and it scored Matt Mangini and Jordy Mercer to tie it up 7-7.

Ryan Pittman's sac bunt moves runner to third with only one out and Ty Wright hit a line shot to right-center to score the game winner. Wright did it in similar fashion against Texas A&M in College Station.

Cowboys win 8-7, sweep Sooners for second year in a row.
