Isaiah Profits

What a finish, folks! Louisville wins it 3-1, on a two-out, walkoff homer by Isaiah Howes.
Who said guys named Isaiah can't win in New York?
Louisville started out trying to manufacture the winning run, but Logan Johnson was caught stealing at second, a play that seemed to loom large when Daniel Burton followed with a single of his own. However, Isaiah Howes was a one-man run factory when he needed to be. The Cardinals' season leader in hits delivered wwhat might be his biggest of the season when he blasted a pitch over the fence in left field to win it for the Cardinals.
Louisville now advances to play the winner of Rutgers and Notre Dame, who are set to meet at 1:00. Chances are it'll be a bit later than that because of a short turnaround time, but when it starts, I'll be right back here with you.
Once again, your final is Louisville 3, Villanova 1, in a wild opener to the 2007 Big East tournament,
