Kids day at the park

Ole Miss leads 1-0 after three. In the second Cody Overbeck led off the second with a double. He advanced on a sacrifice and scored on a groundout.

Its kids day here at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. Everyone under 12 got in free. There are kids as a guest PA announcer, and other assorted jobs around the park. Contrary to popular belief, home plate umpire Morris Hodges was not replaced and is in fact, a grownup calling today's pitches.

Vols have one hit thus far. Similar to yesterday, Ole Miss has had baserunners but have not taken advantage as they have just the one run.
