Lucky Dog

By Mark Etheridge - May 17, 2007

No, we aren't eating hot dogs on Bourbon Street, Lucky Dog refers to a group of maroon-clad players in the home dugout.

Alabama has four hits through two innings but no runs. After having runners on the corners and one out for their 4-5 hitters in the first, then had two on for top hitter Emeel Salem in the second. Senior Greg Paiml was picked off first by all-SEC catcher Edward Easley as the Bulldogs escaped damage once again. Salem then led off the third with a single.

Brian LaNinfa led off the MSU second with a double and scored on consecutive groundouts.
