Make it six for the Cowboys

By Tristan Threlkeld - May 18, 2007

The Pokes are officially on pitcher No. 6 for the evening and I'm not to sure that they won't go one more. Here we are in the top of the eight with the bases loaded for the Tigers. The Tigers put runners on all spots with a single by Trevor Coleman to leftfeild and then Cowboy Josh Fritsche loaded the bases full of Tigers when he walked Aaron Senne and hit John McKee on the back foot on an attempted bunt, oh how weird things can get in baseball. Well the Cowboys called on Martin Beno, their sixth pitcher of the game, to get them out of the inning. He did just that by getting Kyle Mach to strikeout and Gary Arndt to hit into an inning ending 6-4-3 double play.

Still 8-3 Tigers and they are only on pitcher number two, with Greg Folgia in to close the game out for the Tigers here in the bottom of the eight.
