MVC: And It's Raining Again

The rain is coming down in sheets right now, and I'm just glad I made it back from Walgreen's in time! With aspirin now in the system, I hope I'll be feeling a little bit better.

As for Bradley's post-game, I asked the players what "#1 PLAY HUNG" meant.

"It means to play loose," said Paul Rice, who had two homers today. "We have two sayings that we like to use. One is 'Be Awesome', and the other is 'Play Hung'."

"It gives us motivation," said pitcher Brad Altback.

I guess it did, because Bradley dominated the Missouri State Bears, and a rematch with Creighton will be the nightcap.

Expect a slight delay in the WSU-Evansville game, which is scheduled next at 3:30 CDT. Credit goes to both teams for helping put the tarp on the infield as the rains came pouring down.
