MVC: Creighton Draws First Blood

Well, it only took five innings, but we have something other than a zero in the run column.

Creighton's TJ Roemmich singled to put Chad Ogden in scoring position, and when Michael Lam grounded to third, Bradley's Paul Rice threw wild to first base, and Ogden scored, giving Creighton the 1-0 lead that it carries to the sixth.

The crowd is small for tonight's late night game, and neither the Bluejay or Brave fans have matched the intensity that Evansville's fans brought tonight. Then again, there hasn't been much to cheer about so far in the game.
