MVC: Creighton Shuts Out Braves in 1:56

By Jean Neuberger - May 25, 2007

Now that was efficient baseball!

Creighton wasted little time on the mound, completely shutting Bradley down in every offensive aspect known to man, and although Bradley's Chris Wright pitched a heck of a game, it wasn't good enough to beat Zak Moore tonight. The Bluejays win the game 2-0, and they do it in one hour and 56 minutes.

Moore throws 8 innings, walks one, strikes out eight and gives up only two hits tonight. Andy Masten set the Braves down in order, and Creighton will have an easy route to the title game.

WP - Zak Moore (5-1)
LP - Chris Wright (4-2)

More to come from Springfield, as we'll wrap this game, as well as day two's action.
