MVC: Defense Starts Game Two

By Jean Neuberger - May 23, 2007

In the first game, we had an offensive explosion to start things off, as seven combined runs were scored in the first two innings. However, it's been all defense so far in this one, including a terrific play by Bradley RF Colby Luttrell.

With the bases loaded and one out, Evansville C Kirk Bascu hit a pop-up to right field, and tagging from third was Robbie Minor. Luttrell turned and whipped the most perfect relay throw one will ever see. It landed right in the mitt of Braves C Ryan Eigsti, who had little trouble tagging Minor out to end the inning.

We're at 0-0 as we head to the top of the second.
