MVC: End Can't Come Soon Enough

By Jean Neuberger - May 25, 2007

The press box is quiet, sleepy, and anxious for this one to end.

Missouri State's Jake Shafer has pitched well, holding Bradley scoreless in the last two innings. However, the Bears have done absolutely nothing on offense, and the Braves are still up a touchdown as we hit the stretch.

The MSU fans are leaving, making this stadium very very empty. So empty, in fact, that no one was singing during the 7th inning stretch. Something's wrong with that!

Yours truly has a massive headache right now (I feel a cold coming on)...so after BU finishes this one off, I'm taking a stroll down to Walgreen's to get some relief.

7-0 Braves, and it could be more, as Ryan Curry just doubled down the left field line. Eight hits for the Braves, and still all of them have been for extra bases today.
