MVC: Game One to the Bluejays

SIU's woes continued in the ninth. Even though Dean Cadematori singled to left to finally end the SIU slump, he trotted too far towards second on a shallow fly to center by Kevin Koski, and Creighton LF Andrew Small fired a perfect throw back to Darin Ruf for a 7-3 double play to end the game.

Creighton wins it 8-5 and advances to face the winner of Bradley and Evansville, which is coming up next here at Hammons Field. First pitch between the Braves and Aces is set for 3:00pm.
