MVC: In-and-Out Wireless...Braves Jump Ahead

By Jean Neuberger - May 23, 2007

I apologize for not much coming from here, as we're having wireless troubles here in Springfield.

Anyways, Bradley drew first blood in the bottom of the second, as Peter Malinowski hit a two-run missile to left field that still hasn't come down yet, bringing the first tomahawk chops of the game. Evansville would answer in the top of the third, as Pat Tumilty singled to right to score a flying Jim Viscomi from second base, making it a 2-1 game. Bradley, though, would get that run back on one pitch, as SS Dan Brewer took the first pitch of the inning from Kai Tuomi and laced it over the wall in left center to give the Braves a 3-1 lead.

It's still 3-1 Bradley, as Paul Rice sits on second and Ryan Curry on first with no outs. Kai Tuomi's having a lot of trouble here in the bottom of the third...much like the wireless situation at Hammons Field.
