MVC: Jays Waste No Time

A well-rested Creighton team is a dangerous one, and they've wasted no time jumping on Bradley starter Collin Brennan. Ross Sinclair singled up the middle to start the rally, and then, after a Darin Ruf walk, Andrew Small singled to right to score Sinclair. Steve Winklemann followed with a single to the exact same spot in right to score Ruf, and Creighton puts up a 2-spot in the top of the first.

Bradley's got "#1 PLAY HUNG" back out on the dirt in front of their dugout. It'll be interesting to see what happens in their half of the first. This is what the Braves wanted: a rematch with Creighton, and with the MVC Pitcher of the Year on the mound, it should be a terrific emotional battle.
