MVC: Judgment Day Here in Springfield
By Jean Neuberger - May 25, 2007
Five teams enter today's action, but at least two will leave today, and if Creighton has anything to say about it, three will go by night's end, as it is judgment day here in Springfield. It's win-or-go home for everyone here today except the Bluejays, so expect some tight games here at Hammons Field.
Our first showdown is between the #3 Bradley Braves and the #6 Missouri State Bears. Right now, the teams are warming up, but with the early start, the crowd today should be much smaller for the Bears.
It won't be over for the winner either, as they'll have to return back to the stadium for the nightcap against Creighton, with Wichita State and Evansville facing off in between games.
The teams are warming up on the field right now, and we don't even know who'll be starting today, so we'll get back to you with that information, as well as game updates, as CSTV.com's coverage of the 2007 Missouri Valley Tournament continues.
