MVC: The Runs Keep Coming

By Jean Neuberger - May 25, 2007

For a church school, Creighton loves to give their opponents hell.

Bradley still hasn't been able to throw a zero up on the Creighton side of the scoreboard, as the Jays added yet another run on a sac fly by Steve Winklemann that easily scored Chris Gradoville from third. Chad Ogden just singled for the Jays, loading up the bases with just one out in the top of the fourth.

Bradley's pen is obviously depleted after playing three full games, as there is no action in the left field pen despite this slaughter of a game.

Just as I finished typing that, TJ Roemmich doubled down the left field line (a popular choice of hit all week), scoring two more, and it's 11-2 Jays, still one out, and runners on second and third.

Memo to NCAA officials: Creighton is MUCH better than the RPI rating of 43 you've given them.
