MVC: Three Outs From Game Two

In a must-win game for Wichita State, the Shockers worked around a Michael Lam single to get out of the eighth, and they'll have a chance now to get some insurance before taking Creighton on in the ninth.

Should the Shockers hold on, we'll be back tonight for the MVC Championship Game. Should Creighton make a run and pull out a win, the Bluejays will be Missouri Valley Tournament Champs.

On a lighter note, they say Creighton pitcher Scott Reese is 6'6''. He looks a LOT taller in person. This guy towers over every one of his teammates...he looks like he's 6'8'', 6'9''..somewhere in the Randy Johnson range.

I pity any poor bird that tries to fly in this guy's zone.
