MWC: Aztecs, Lobos Square off in Thursday Finale

By Jason Owens - May 24, 2007

Thursday's nightcap brings a rematch of the best game of the MWC Championship thus far as New Mexico and San Diego State battle to stave off elimination after the Lobos pulled off a 1-0 thriller over the Aztecs on Wednesday. Tonight's winner advances to face UNLV in tomorrow's morning game. The loser goes home.

The Aztecs appear to have the pitching edge with Lance Sewell sporting a 3.28 ERA and 5-5 record while New Mexico's Jacob Norton has struggled to a 6.37 ERA and 4-7 record this season.
