MWC: No Dogs Today

By Jason Owens - May 24, 2007

The lunch options at Earl E. Wilson stadium consist of hot dogs, jumbo hot dogs and polish dogs. I went high class and got a polish dog yestersday, but with the quick run through the morning game today, we had enough time for a real lunch break so I could expand my diet beyond the dog variety. My body thanks BYU and New Mexico for their efficient play this morning.

The afternoon game just got underway and we get our first look at the conference favorite TCU Horned Frogs who have the tools to roll through the hometown UNLV Rebels. TCU brings Jake Arrieta with his 3.36 ERA and 8-3 record along with a lineup full of .300-plus hitters to the table today. It will be a tough test for the home team.
