MWC: There's No Crying in the Press Box

By Jason Owens - May 26, 2007

I've just seen one of the saddest displays I've ever witnessed in a press box. After a tough play at third base, TCU's Steven Trout couldn't make an out that the official scorer ruled a hit for BYU's Stephen Wells.

One of the women from the TCU radio broadcast stormed into the press box from her outside booth and proceeded to whine to the official scorer that it should have been an error. And this was after a similar display on Friday.

She acted like a five-year-old crying about being sent to timeout -- you know -- using a high-pitched ascending tone of voice and almost stomping her feet on the way out of the box. Just pathetic.

As for game action, BYU still has an 8-4 lead in the seventh inning.
