The final line on Vandy's Cody Crowell: 7 IP, 7 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 5 K, 2 BB. Vandy coach Tim Corbin, who's struggled to find a consistent No. 3 man for at least half the year, will take that for sure.

That's more good news for the No. 1 Commodores on the heels of Mike Minor's impressive showing last night. Minor had struggled in his last three starts, and Crowell his last two until this weekend.

Brett Jacobson is on in relief in the eighth to protect a 3-1 Vandy lead over LSU.
