NASHVILLE: History at Hawkins Field

By Chris Lee - May 17, 2007

Vanderbilt's David Price just struck out Sean Ochinko and Nicholas Pontiff to start the ninth before walking Jared Mitchell. That gave Price 15 strikeouts on the night before the walk prompted Tim Corbin to pull Price after 131 pitches for closer Casey Weathers, who got Steve Broschofsky to ground out to end the game.

That gives Vanderbilt a share of its first-ever SEC regular season title, which they can clinch if Ole Miss, who is tied with Arkansas at four apiece in the seventh, can pull out a win over the Razorbacks.
