David Price is throwing his typical Friday night outing, striking out Nick Pontiff and Jared Mitchell before yielding consecutive singles to Steve Broschofsky and Buzzy Hadel.

Price rebounded to fan get Chris McGhee for the third out as the LSU No. 9 hitter grounded to second, and Hadel ran into second baseman Alex Feinberg so McGhee was called out on runner's interference. The inning's second strikeout was Price's 13th strikeout through seven, and Vandy takes a 3-1 lead to the bottom of the seventh.

Price has now struck out 163 hitters in 112.1 innings this season.
