Maybe Tim Corbin should have sent Matt Meingasner home on the triple anyway. With one out, Meingasner went home on a contact play on a grounder to third, and was ruled out at home. It looked as if Meingasner might have beaten the tag, but home plate upmpre Fred Cannon rang him up with passion.

Still Vandy 1, LSU 0 as the Tigers hit with one on and one out in the third.
