Never Say Die

These OSU Cowboys never say die and in the bottom of the eighth inning the Cowboy bats have come to life and so have the Cowboy fans. With two outs in the inning Rebel Ridling started the inning off with an E-6 single, Jordy Mercer hit a single between third base and short stop to put runners on first and second. Then enters Donnie Webb as a pinch hitter and he came up big for the Pokes as he hit an RBI double to shallow left to score Ridling and move Mercer to third. Then the second pinch hitter came to the plate in sophomore Kendall Horner who hit the second big hit of the inning in a two-run RBI single. Never fear the Cowboy bats are here, must be the teams motto.

At the end of the eight inning the Cowboys close the gap and the score is now 8-6 Tigers.
