OSU-MU: Tigers looking for sweep; Senior Day for the Pokes
By Tristan Threlkeld - May 20, 2007
The Missouri Tigers are on a roll as of late and they continued their successful domination of the Big 12 by steamrolling through the Oklahoma State Cowboys two games in a row and look to make it three on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Stillwater. Here at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium the sun is shining brightly to the tone of 75 degrees and a slight breeze to dead center field.
On the mound today for both teams are a couple of youngsters with the Tigers throwing sophomore Ian Berger (4-1, 4.23 ERA), while the Cowboys will put the fate of not getting swept in the hands of freshman Andy Oliver (6-1, 4.66 ERA). The youngster for the Cowboys has a lot of power but is not consistent and not much control. Oliver did win his last outing against Texas Tech, but in his two previous outing before that he couldn't make it past the first inning.
As I said before game one of this series "To The Victor Goes The Spoils" and so far that goes directly to the Mizzou Tigers. Now on to the game at hand.
