OSU-OU: Cowboys pouring it on

By Tristan Threlkeld - May 05, 2007

The Oklahoma State Cowboys have officially taken complete control of this game when senior Tyler Mach hammered a three-run shot to deep left-center. The Cowboys added two runs early in the bottom of the seventh by playing a little small ball. The Cowboys are not good at playing small ball, but tonight there is something in the air as Ryan Pittman and Steve Ptak both had RBI bunts.

Mach has 11 homers on the season, which is good for second on the team. After the Cowboys poured on the runs with the rain, the Sooners fifth pitcher of the game got Corey Brown to strikeout to stop the bleeding for the Sooners and end the seventh.

Cowboys lead 10-2 after seven.
